If something goes wrong
After every session — and any time, from your list of known yappers — you can tap Report to flag the conversation for moderator review, and Block to prevent that person from joining your sessions again. Blocking also removes them from your in-app lists immediately and notifies our moderation team.
Reports go to a moderation queue and are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. You don’t need to provide your real name in the report — we already have the session metadata.
For urgent safety issues, email safety@yap-room.com. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
How we enforce
For first-time minor violations we typically warn. For severe violations (threats, doxxing, content involving minors) we suspend immediately. Repeated violations lead to account termination and forfeiture of any pending compensation. Where appropriate we cooperate with law enforcement.
Appeals
If you believe a suspension was a mistake, reply to the notification email or write to safety@yap-room.com. We respond within 14 days.
